When you leave a 15-year career in Product & Technology to become a painter, people often assume that you’re painting still-lifes and happy little accidents. It’s helpful to clarify: We paint trim, and doors, and all kinds of custom projects… Mostly walls, though.
Oui Also Set Goals
Our goal at Oui Paint is to teach women entrepreneurship through interior painting. We believe painting companies are recession-proof, robot-proof, and fairly accessible for women looking to be their own boss. Meet our founder: Cat
Cat has been painting (walls, that is) for over 25 years. She has always maintained that painting is her yoga — it’s certainly more peaceful than her previous career in tech startups. Cat and her husband live in a 115 year old home in Andersonville that has seen lots of colors on the walls.
Cat is also an instructor at Even Made Trade, a group of rad women who teach homeownership & DIY classes “for everyone else.” It’s a fun place for anyone to learn a new skill!
